For all of our loyal customers,

Please do not take comments that are posted by anonymous customers seriously. We had an issue with a former employee who has decided he was going to bring our rating down by posting comments that are not very favorable. The last three comments can not be verified by us as we did not have any customers in the past two weeks. We have never delivered green wood or a short order. Our deliveries are full and half cords of seasoned, dry oak from the El Dorado County area. We will always call to reschedule our delivery if necessary. We apologize to everyone of you for the rude comments this person left. We would like to offer free delivery to anyone who has been affected by the comments. Horrible experience with this company. They showed up late in the evening and delivered a load of green wood. They did not look like the most upstanding gentleman either. I didn’t know the wood was green till the following morning. I couldn’t get this wood to burn if my life depended on it! I sent them a text the following day to voice my concerns and how they might resolve the issue. Of course, I got no response. Please do not use this company! Save yourself the hassle and spend your money elsewhere.

Horrible company. We ordered 1/2 ,cord of wood they only brought 1/4 at time of delivery @5:30pm with the promise to bring the only 1/4 cord in the morning. They made my husband pay at time of delivery only to not show up and deliver the other 1/4 of a cord. When my husband called to find out when they would deliver they blocked him. Do not do business with them. The wood is green, wet and doesn't burn. It's a shame a business like this is able to stay in business. They have no integrity. We are notifying authorities of their shady business practices so others don't get ripped off.

Got our delivery today and not only did he give us extra wood but also extra of the better wood! They weren’t able to make it when we first tried to schedule the delivery but to make up for it they came the next weekend with at least an extra $100 of wood which we thought was great customer service!! Then he offered to come back if we needed help with anything. We recognize the hard work that goes into this business and really appreciate the great seasoned firewood and the great prices! Thanks!!

The Firewood Guy is very professional and friendly. My wood was delivered on time and the quality was excellent. He took the time to stack the wood and even gave me some tips on burning it. I am very happy with his service and I will most definitely be ordering again and referring all my friends to The Firewood Guy in Placerville, California.

Made an appointment to have a cord delivered to my home in El Dorado. Was told they'd be there between 1pm and 4pm. Took time off work to be there to meet them.
No call. No text. No show.
Avoid this company if you value your time and like doing business with people who deliver on their promises.
